The following are a few of our policies to make sure that everybody understands how we build trusted relationships with our customer's. 

Legal Notice:

All notices from Above the Bar Soapery to You may be posted on our Web site and will be deemed delivered within thirty (30) days after posting. Notices from You to Above the Bar Soapery shall be made either by regular mail, sent to the address we provide on our Web site, or first class mail to our address at:
Delivery shall be deemed to have been made by You to Above the Bar Soapery five (5) days after the date sent.

 ARTISTIC LICENSE: Since our products are all handmade here on site at Above The Bar Soapery, no two bars of soaps will look exactly the same. Please expect the differences in our designs from time to time. All of our personal care items are handcrafted in small batches to maintain quality and freshness. If you would like a customized product please contact us.

 PAYMENT: We are currently using Square and PayPal for all of our internet transactions. We prefer Square and PayPal because they are trusted companies for us and our customers. Both Square and PayPal keep all of your information secure and they never share or sell your information. This keeps you safe. If you do not want to use Square or PayPal, we do take credit cards over the phone. Contact us and we will call you to get your credit card information.

Shipping and Delivery

At this time, Above the Bar Soapery ships merchandise to locations within the United States and U.S. territories, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the US Virgin Islands. Additionally, Above the Bar ships merchandise to Canada and Mexico, but not to other international locations. The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered on this Web site pass to you when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier. All shipping charges are calculated for U.S. addresses only. We ship using UPS Ground Mail, which takes 2 to 5 business days from the time we ship depending on your location. We normally ship within 48 hours of receiving your order. If we are out of stock on a particular soap/personal care item we will email or call you and ask if you would like to make another choice. 

International

Customs and import duties may be applied to International orders when the shipment reaches its destination. Such charges are the responsibility of the recipient of your order and vary from country to country. Contact your local customs office for details.

Shipping laws are different in each country. It is your responsibility to check with your Customs office to verify whether the country to which you are shipping permits the shipment of your products. Above the Bar Soapery is not responsible for any direct, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages that arise from improper international shipping practices.

Sales Tax

Above the Bar Soapery charges sales tax for merchandise ordered on this Web site based on the applicable state sales tax rate and the location to which the order is being shipped.

 REFUNDS AND RETURNS:  

You may purchase merchandise from abovethebarsoap.com Web site by using any one of the payment options listed in (link to Payment Options). Above the Bar Soapery reserves the right to change its payment procedures at any time without prior notice to you.

 Due to our products consumable nature we do not accept returns, we do not accept any returns once the package is opened. If you received the wrong order send us an email immediately and please do not open the soap/personal care item, or burn candle. Once you open the product, we can not accept it for return or refund. Our soap/personal care  products are very personal items and we are sure you understand why we can not accept returns.

 ALLERGIES: It is the responsibility of the user of our soaps/personal care items to make sure they are not allergic to our products. Everyone’s skin is different and you must test soaps as you would anything else. If you are known to have sensitive skin, please test the soap on a small part of your arm for a few days prior to using it all over.
